Following his election as head of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), Abdoulaye Fall congratulated all the candidates, especially those who were eliminated from the race.
‘No one deserves to lose. That’s the law of football. There is always a winner and a loser,’ he wrote in a post.
The new FSF president praised the sportsmanship and emotions that the sport inspires, while emphasising that football always brings people together.
He also thanked the outgoing president, Augustin Senghor, for his work at the helm of the organisation.
