The deputy and leader of the Pastef Les Patriotes party, Ousmane Sonko, at the bedside of his injured activists during clashes with law enforcement agencies last Monday. The opponent visited them on Wednesday, February 10, at the hospital Idrissa Pouye de Grand-Yoff, ex-CTO.
In this political-judicial affair, the Pro-Sonko, multiplying the exits, are erecting shields around their leader, against what they describe as a « conspiracy » hatched by the regime in place in order to « liquidate » before the presidential election of 2024. They say they are ready to die.
Ousmane Sonko refused to defer to the summons of the Research Section (SR) of the Colobane Gendarmerie following the complaint of the masseuse, Adji Sarr, aged 21, accusing her of repeated rapes and death threats.
Moreover, the procedure for the lifting of the deputy’s parliamentary immunity has been launched. The office of the National Assembly and the conference of presidents are convened on 11 February.
