Internet sensation and self-proclaimed ‘billionaire’ Shatta Bandle has singled out a young artist for posting a song that does not resonate well with him. According to Shatta, he doesn’t understand why an emerging singer, Twetwe, would encourage young women to post near-naked videos of themselves on social media to promote his new song, ‘Woso’.
What do I care? Well, self-proclaimed ‘billionaire’ Shatta Bandle is not one to mince his words. The social networking sensation has been at it again, posing as a teacher. Shatta Bandle has attacked a young artist for publishing a song that he finds too vulgar and that incites the young woman to debauchery.
According to Shatta Bandle, he does not understand why the emerging singer, Twetwe, would encourage young women to post near-naked videos of themselves on social media to promote his new song, ‘Woso’. Unlike Patapaa’s viral song ‘One Corner’ where many rushed to a secluded space to dance, Twetwe’s song urges women to ‘twerk’ (a sensual dance.), some of them wearing far from decent outfits.
Shatta Bandle, reacting to the song in an Instagram Live video, urged the musician to stop such behaviour, asking him why he would project such a song. Before long, the conversation became heated where Twetwe had to silence the Instagram star to continue his work. He said he saw nothing wrong with his song, only for Shatta Bandle to start criticising him.
