The Senegalese Diary Sow, a second year preparatory class student at the Lycée Louis le Grand in Paris, reported missing in early January, is alive, according to French investigators. The girl is said to have organised her own runaway. For what reasons?
Good news for the parents, relatives and other friends of Diary Sow, a student in the second year of preparatory class at the Lycée Louis le Grand in Paris, whose disappearance had been investigated by the French justice system. This was a matter of state, since even the President of Senegal, Macky Sall, had become involved, having instructed his diplomatic services « to take all necessary steps to find our compatriot as soon as possible »…
According to a report by Jeune Afrique, French investigators concluded that he had run away voluntarily, organised by Diary Sow. What was the purpose? This will be the next step, which is of interest both in France and in Senegal. All the more so as the young girl has, for more than a week, given cold sweats on both continents?
Before this conclusion of the investigators, the latest information reported the presence of Diary Sow in Toulouse, who later returned to Paris. Indeed, sources close to the investigation indicated that the student had returned to the French capital, accompanied by his friend, a medical student, in Toulouse. The two girls reportedly went to the residence where Diary Sow was staying before they both disappeared on 4 January.
Diary Sow’s disappearance had been reported on 7 January by the Senegalese consul, who was himself informed by the Senegalese school. When contacted, officials at the young Senegalese girl’s university residence, located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, said Diary Sow had not badged since 4 January.
