On TF1, this Sunday, the Prime Minister denounced the compromises with radical Islamism. He invited the French to be proud of their roots, of their identity, and called for an end to « self-flagellation ».
« I want here to denounce all the compromises that there have been for too many years, the justifications for this radical Islamism: we should self-flagellate, regret colonization, I don’t know what else? ».
Here are the words of the Prime Minister, pronounced yesterday evening, November 1, when he was the guest of the 8 p.m. news on TF1.
On the eve of the minute of silence in schools, in homage to the memory of Samuel Paty, the teacher savagely murdered by a terrorist, Jean Castex wanted to harden the tone: « the fight is ideological: the enemy seeks first to divide us by spreading hatred and violence, to fracture the national community.
« No more complacency of intellectuals ».
« The first way to win a war is for the national community to be united, to be proud of our roots, our identity, our Republic, our freedom, we must win the ideological struggle, » said the head of government before resuming, « it’s over, no more complacency of intellectuals, political parties, we must all be united on the basis of our values, on the basis of our history.
« We have to attack evil at its roots (…), they attack screen associations, fake mosques, they form clandestine schools, they use social networks, all this is at the heart of our strategy ».
Jean Castex confirmed that other associations will be dissolved, « the clandestine schools, we are closing them, we will continue to close them; the false associations that brainwash, we will dissolve them (…), we have closed two and we will continue.
