The Polisario Front has denied the remarks of the Moroccan Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita, regarding the accusations against Iran. During his speech at the AIPAC conference last Thursday, the head of Moroccan diplomacy accused the Tehran regime of providing military support to the movement of Brahim Ghali.

On this occasion, Oubi Bouchraya El Bachir reiterated the Front’s rejection of the « allegations » of the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, while asking the head of Moroccan diplomacy to « provide evidence » of Iran’s support in arms to the Polisario Front.
This reaction of Oubi Bouchraya El Bachir, exactly matches the categorical rejection of the spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saturday. Said Khatibzadeh also denounced the accusations made by Nasser Bourita last Thursday during his speech at the AIPAC conference, calling them « baseless allegations.
It should be recalled that Iran is a rare country in the world to recognise the « Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) » since 27 February 1980. In addition, relations between the Cherifian Kingdom and Iran have been severed since 1 May 2018. A decision taken by Morocco in response to the armed support of the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah organisation to the Polisario Front in the Western Sahara conflict.
