In Nigeria, intelligence agents on Friday closed the trial of activist journalist Omoyele Sowore. Indignation of jurists, anger of the opposition.
Wind of panic this Friday at the courthouse of the High Federal Court of Abuja. This is the result of the irruption of agents of the State Security Service (DSS). The dreaded Nigerian intelligence service then evacuated the courtroom.
On that day, the court was examining the case against Omoyele Sowore, an activist journalist charged with several counts including treason, money laundering and harassment against the President of the Republic.

« Far from us any hint of mortgage justice proceedings, we within the Democratic People’s Party (PDP) believe in all citizenship that justice is the only institution to pronounce the appropriate sentence in this case. The use of force does not solve the problem, « said Kola Ologbondiyan, spokesman for the main opposition party.
The political party, very annoyed, even referred to the methods of Idi Amin Dada, who reigned with an iron fist over Uganda between 1971 and 1979.
