The Council of Government, meeting on Thursday by videoconference under the chairmanship of Head of Government Saad Dine El Otmani, began the examination of the draft law No. 13.21 on the legal use of cannabis, in anticipation of its adoption at the next council.
Presented by the Minister of the Interior, this bill will be completed and approved at the next Council of Government, said the Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Government Spokesman, Saaid Amzazi, in a statement read at a press briefing held at the end of the Council of Government.
This Council of Government was devoted to the examination of Bill No. 13.21 as well as the examination and approval of three draft decrees implementing Decree-Law No. 2.20. 605 of 15 September 2020 relating to the promulgation of exceptional measures for the benefit of certain employers affiliated to the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) and their declared employees, as well as certain categories of self-employed workers and self-employed persons insured with the CNSS affected by the repercussions of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19), after taking into consideration the agreed amendments concerning the extension of the benefit period.
