The gigantic Mohammed VI Tower should soon finish its work. According to Leila Haddaoui, the delegated general manager for the company O Tower, in charge of the realization and the follow-up of this building site, the execution rate is 75%. The works of this site located on the right bank of the Bouregreg river in Salé are progressing at a good pace.
The execution rate of the works of the Mohammed VI Tower is 75%. The structural work for the base is 90% complete, while the metal framework is 50% complete for the tower. The foundation work is already completed, » said Leila Haddaoui, the managing director of the O Tower company, in charge of the construction and monitoring of the building designed by architects Rafael de la Hoz of Spain and Hakim Benjelloun of Morocco.
The newspaper indicates that Leila Haddaoui was pleased with the dynamism and professionalism of those responsible for this important project, the construction technique and environmental integration. According to the director, this project is part of a very strict and rigorous approach in terms of preservation and protection of the environment, aiming at the double certification LEED Gold and HQE.
No less than 810 people are involved in the construction of this masterpiece, including some 60 managers, executives, engineers and architects. As for the workers, there are approximately 750 of them, who work day and night. Those in charge « rely on the complementarity of international teams with experience of towers and high-rise buildings and the excellent Moroccan skills recognised for their rigour and professionalism, and which enable them to manage and monitor the studies and work ».
