The French capital is preparing to host the qualifying tournament for the Tokyo Olympic Games, from 9 to 15 June 2021. The three Tunisian representatives will try to validate their ticket. They are Thamer Slimani (-84kg), Nader Azzouzi (-60kg), Walid Guezmir (-75kg) and Chahinez Jemmi (+68kg).
The four Tunisian Karatekas are already at work in Hammamet since Monday, May 3, 2021, in view of the qualifying tournament for the Tokyo Olympic Games. This tournament will be held in Paris, France from 9 to 15 June 2021. Four Tunisian karatekas will participate. They are Thamer Slimani (-84kg), Nader Azzouzi (-60kg), Walid Guezmir (-75kg) and Chahinez Jemmi (+68kg).
Currently in training until May 10, the four Tunisian karatekas are giving their all to live up to the expectations of their public at the Paris tournament. A second training course is announced from 15 May 2021 still in the same centre of Hammamet. The objective of these training courses is to prepare the karatekas thoroughly, so that they succeed in validating their ticket for the Olympic Games of Tokyo 2021.
The Tunisian team is coached by Mohamed Amine Hassnaoui. Ben Alaya and the National Technical Director (DTN) Saïd Belhssine also make up the Tunisian delegation. Tunisian referee Mohamed Ali Ezzine has been appointed for the qualifying rounds.
