The leader of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, is being hounded from all sides. After the Moroccan government and a testimony of rape of a Sahrawi woman named Khadijatou Mahdmoud, several victims of the atrocities committed by the Polisario Front demonstrated in front of the San Pedro Hospital in Logroño, on Saturday. They showed their indignation and anger at the attitude of the Spanish government to allow access to its territory of a man wanted by the courts for « crimes of genocide and terrorism ».
Spain has been facing a lot of pressure from all sides since Brahim Ghali was admitted to its territory for « humanitarian reasons » linked to his recent fragile state of health. Several victims of the atrocities committed by the Western Sahara separatist group demonstrated in front of the San Pedro hospital in Logroño on Saturday. They showed their indignation and anger at the attitude of the Spanish government to allow access to its territory of a man wanted by the courts for « crimes of genocide and terrorism ».
These victims stressed that this criminal must be held accountable for the serious charges against him. Holding placards denouncing the illegal entry of Brahim Ghali into Spain « under a false identity and demanding the reactivation of the judicial proceedings against this mercenary », the participants in the demonstration urged the Spanish government to comply with the arrest warrant issued by Judge José de la Mata of the National Court, the highest Spanish criminal court.
In a communiqué read on this occasion, the victims of the Polisario’s criminal acts demanded the immediate arrest of the Polisario Front leader, Brahim Ghali, and the extradition of his accomplices as soon as possible. They also called, in the name of all victims of criminal acts committed by the separatists, the Spanish government of Pedro Sanchez to assume its responsibility and to provide justice to the Spanish victims of the Polisario, instead of welcoming a criminal in violation of national and international law.
However, the Spanish press has widely reported on this protest demonstration, including the newspaper La Rioja and the general news portal tribunalibre.info.
