Following the death of his uncle, Prince Mohammed Ben Talal, King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to King Abdullah II of Jordan. Born in Amman on 2 October 1940, Mohammed Ben Talal was the second son of King Talal of Jordan and the younger brother of King Hussein of Jordan, and was Crown Prince from 1952 to 1962. « The Royal Hashemite Court mourns the passing of His Royal Highness Prince Muhammed bin Talal, His Majesty’s personal representative. Prince Muhammed, may his soul rest in peace, passed away on Thursday, 29 April 2021, » a statement said. He was buried on Friday, after prayers, in the royal shrines of the Royal Guard Command Mosque.
Following this death, King Mohammed VI of Morocco sent a message of condolences and compassion to King Abdullah II of Jordan. In his message, the sovereign of the Cherifian kingdom, faced with this sad news, expresses to King Abdullah II of Jordan, the royal family and the Jordanian people, his deep condolences, insisting on his compassion.
Saying he « shares the grief of the Royal Family following this cruel loss, King Mohammed VI implores the Almighty to amply reward the deceased for the commendable services rendered to his homeland, and to welcome him in His vast paradise among the virtuous, » said a statement from the Moroccan Royal Cabinet.
