The remaining matches of the Champions League of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) this season have been rescheduled, with the semi-final return between Raja of Casablanca and the Egyptian formation of Zamalek scheduled for next Wednesday, announced the Organizing Committee for Interclub Competitions and the Management of Club Licenses under the CAF.
The semi-final return will be played at 19:00 GMT at the Cairo International Stadium, CAF said Friday in a statement published on its website.
The final which will oppose the winner of the Zamalek-Raja match will take place in Al Ahly on November 27 at 19:00 at the Borg Al Arab stadium in Alexandria.
This postponement follows the request of the Egyptian authorities, hosts of the matches, and in compliance with the health protocol related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the same source said.
The Egyptian team of Al Ahly won its ticket to the final by beating Wydad Casablanca with a total of 5 goals to 1, while Raja is trying to make up for its delay in the first leg in Casablanca (defeat 0-1) to reach the final.
