Ten Guinean soldiers were brought before the military justice system yesterday, Thursday, October 28. They are accused of stealing in the wake of the CNRD’s seizure of power.
As their arrest began to be the subject of various interpretations in the city, sometimes taking on communal overtones, the High Command of the National Gendarmerie, Directorate of Military Justice has seen fit to publish the list of these soldiers prosecuted. This is to silence all speculations around this case.
They are: Commander Ali Camara, Captain Souleymane Bangoura, Captain Tamba Kèkoura Kamano, Chief Warrant Officer Mory Hawa Camara, Warrant Officer Daouda Keita and Private 2nd Class Makan Diabaté, implicated in the robbery recorded at the Sèkhoutouréya Palace on the day of the coup.
In addition to these six, Chief Warrant Officer Jacques Zakama Koïvogui, Private 2nd Class Djibril Daffé and Private 2nd Class Abdoul Salam Faro were cited in the case of the November 8 bridge.
