After a stay in Algeria where he was received by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs is in Morocco. Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah delivered to Prince Moulay Rachid a message from the Emir of Kuwait to King Mohammed VI, in the presence of Nasser Bourita and the ambassador of the emirate accredited in Rabat.
This visit was preceded on 21 April by discussions via video conference between the two ministers. They welcomed the strategic partnership between Morocco and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and stressed the importance of strengthening it. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammed Al Ahmad also noted that his meeting with Bourita is an opportunity to focus on the lessons to be learned from the management of the Coronavirus pandemic, particularly in terms of strengthening the health system, as well as the importance of a joint management of the pandemic.
This trip to the kingdom comes two days after Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah’s stopover in Algiers, where he also delivered a message to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and met his counterpart, Sabri Boukadoum.
